God’s Grace For You
Have you ever thought about the fact that you cannot hide from God?
It’s true. He is everywhere all the time, watching over His creation, of which you are a part. He knows all the things you’ve done and those things you should have done, but you didn’t do. He also knows your thoughts, your heart and what you plan to do. It’s also true that He hasn’t given up on you, because of His incredible love for you; love that will never end. This Holy love that extends to you is made complete in your being given free will; this is the only way that true and holy love can work. The free will you have received also allows you to do things that you know are wrong. You know the difference between right and wrong because your conscience tells you. God knows you will do the things you shouldn’t and He still loves you, because His love never fails. The scripture tells us in Jeremiah 2:19; your own wickedness will correct you, and your apostasies will reprove you. So now God’s mercy calls: “Come unto Me, all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; AND YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. Matthew 11:28-29
Have you ever wondered if God can forgive you for all the things you’ve done wrong or the bad decisions you’ve made that have caused enormous problems? A lot of people don’t believe they can be forgiven, but they can.
Why don’t you just stop and decide to begin a new life. A life that is available to you through the forgiveness of all the things you’ve done wrong. This new life can be achieved in a very simple way. All it requires is that you have the faith to believe that Jesus died for you when, He took all your sins upon himself at the cross.
John 3:16-17 tells you…
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
The peace and riddance of all the sin, the unholiness, in your life can be achieved, by asking your Father in heaven, to forgive you through Jesus name and that you choose to begin a new life in Him.
We hope you will do that and begin again. That is our prayer for you.
In closing, let us tell you a true story about man who was so evil, that it seemed he would never change. But he did.
He was born in England on July 24, 1725 and had a terrible childhood after the death of his godly mother before the age of seven. His tyrant father sent him to serve aboard an English military ship at the age of eleven. He spent the next seven years sailing the oceans until the rigid ships discipline drove him to desert. He was caught, beaten and sent to Africa where he suffered and finally ended up working on a slave ship. He eventually became the captain of a slave ship transporting slaves from Africa. This was a cruel and vile profession, where upon hundreds of people were tortured and killed just because of who they were.
There came a time during a long voyage from Africa when they found themselves caught up in a violent storm, with the sails torn, the masts broken and the ship falling apart and sinking, he realized the end had been reached and they would all die. There was no hope of survival. Probably somewhere in the back of his mind, he remembered his mother praying and so when all seemed lost, he prayed for mercy from God. God answered his prayer and they were saved. This experience changed his life forever. God put an end to his life of godless slavery, forgave him and set him on a new path to become a minister and help stop slavery with William Wilberforce. In addition, God inspired him to write one of the greatest Christian Hymns of all time, “Amazing Grace”. His name was John Newton.
You would be amazed at what your Father in heaven can do. He is waiting to hear your prayer. His amazing grace and love are like two mighty rivers flowing from heaven and they have always been there for you.
Ask him to forgive you now and set you free, to move into a marvelous future that you cannot imagine or possibly even believe. It is there for you.
And may God richly bless you, with His amazing grace, in your new life and remember to…..“Consider the Lilies”…… (That is to live a life of faith)
